Want 1:1 support from me in an incredibly impactful and very affordable way?
I’ve been testing something new behind the scenes, and it has been working really well for everyone who has worked with me so far!
In a nutshell, you get access to me 1:1 for an entire day on and off using Voxer (a free walkie-talkie voice/ text message app) and I get you moving in a hugely impactful way. Want all the details? Keep reading.
I used the Day of Voxer to set the plan for my next course – Four Weeks of Space. Since the day of Voxer I think all the big stuff is sorted! Did I have any ahas? Ermmmm loads! The words, the price, the copy, the strength of the language – tons!
I worked through SO MUCH on this day with Ruth. I went into the day with a clear idea in mind of what I wanted to achieve with my new offering. By the end of the day of Ruth’s help, support and advice I had: written the sales page copy, decided on the price, had fleshed out the offer, who it was for and how to communicate clearly with them. It was great!
I was looking for clarity on what to focus on. I took action immediately during the day. Taking action so quickly was really motivating. The accountability of things being sorted in one day was also really motivating! I appreciated you reading over some opt ins over email as I wasnt sure if that was in the scope of the day.
Thank you Ruth for encouraging me to drill down to whats most important for my next launch and getting clear on how things balance.
Before our day together I needed clarity around my mission statement, wording and direction. After the day together I have more clarity around how to communicate what my business is about
Ruth managed to dig deep enough to get me to a state of ease when the aha showed up to confirm what I already knew, but haven’t been willing to acknowledge. I realised that there are places I have not been willing to go and the clarity I achieved during this day made me feel confident I will go down routes in my business I have not yet been willing to go.
The Day of Voxer with Ruth is a great way of running (practical) questions by her. It was ideal to have Ruth ‘in my pocket’ for a day as I worked on my business and made plans for the future. I have started working on making my website even better with Ruth’s advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll have access to me between 8am and 6pm UK time. If you’re more than a few hours ahead/behind, please get in touch and we’ll work something out to make sure you get a good chunk of time.
Don’t worry. This doesn’t mean we’ll be communicating nonstop for 10 hours! That’s just the window during which we’ll be exchanging messages. You’re not expected or supposed to be sitting by your phone waiting for replies.
We’ll be exchanging messages throughout the day at a steady yet relaxed pace. Sometimes back and forth, sometimes with some gaps for other stuff going on in our lives & work.
During a Day of Voxer, we’ll be exchanging messages at a slow yet steady pace throughout the day, with gaps in between for other life & business stuff we’ve already got on that day.
You’ll want to make sure you have enough time to listen and reply to messages, and to think, journal, or take action in between. If you’ve got some meetings during the day, or you have to start it late/ end it early that’s fine as long as we still have a chunk of a few hours.
I’ll be available between 8am and 6pm UK time. This means, most time zones get at least a handful of hours of conversation during a Day of Voxer. If you are more than a few hours ahead or behind, please use the chat box on the bottom right corner of this page and we’ll work something out.
I have a number of different weekdays to choose from. Click here to see my calendar – you can view availability there, and then book it in once payment has been made.
If you’ve checked my calendar and none of the dates work, don’t worry. Message me using the chat box on the bottom right corner of this page, and we’ll figure something out.
Absolutely! But please know that I didn’t “invent” the Day of Voxer concept. Elizabeth Goddard is the brains behind the offer, and I can totally vouch for her free workshop* and paid course* on the subject. I have personally made several thousand pounds with the offer, done days of Voxer with people who have gone on to become 1:1 clients or who have joined my group programme, and found an offer I actually love running (vs my old 1:1 strategy calls, which I have now discontinued).
*Note these are affiliate links, so I’ll receive commission if you buy anything from Lizzy after clicking, but I have taken the course myself and wholeheartedly recommend it! In fact, you’ll see my testimonial there on the sales page 😆
No, it is definitely not a non-stop 10 hour conversation. On the days I set aside for Day of Voxer, it’s usual for me to have up to a couple of 1 hour calls and maybe take a little time out for regular life stuff – shower, lunch, or maybe a short run. It’s not a completely full work day for me, but nor does the Day of Voxer account for 100% of my time (and let’s be honest, a 10 hour call would be exhausting for us both!).
What this means is that we get periods (usually several) where we go back and forth quite a bit in real time. Then we have periods where we don’t reply to each other instantly. I find most clients find that this is way more than enough, especially since we’re often introverts and it works well for our energy. And I can promise you that it is way more than you’d get out of a one off call (which I used to charge more for).
So please know that you’ll have time to work on things throughout the day as we chat. And you’ll have time to rest, or to do the school run, or whatever else you’ve got on that day.
Yes, it is. And it’s available for both mobile and desktop.
Yes, please do! I’d love to chat to you again.
No worries, you can do that easily using the link in the appointment confirmation email, or by messaging me. I ask that you give me 24 hours notice. Apart from that though I’m flexible!
Here are some examples of things that aren’t a good fit for a Day of Voxer:
- Wanting to get everything answered all in one day. It just gets confusing and it’s really not possible anyway.
- Needing loads of detailed editing and feedback on long written copy, or videos etc. I actually do give feedback on things like posts, sales pages and freebies but they have to be scannable and the feedback needs to be on specific items (e.g. what do you think of this headline? How could I jazz up those bullet points?)
- Tech support
Note: My speciality is online marketing and I mainly work with service providers, online course creators, podcasters, bloggers etc. See the next FAQ for examples of topics this works well for.
Things that are a good fit? Most business topics! Here are some real-life examples of things I’ve worked with clients on:
- Helping someone to figure out their pricing, not just the practical side but also digging into mindset blocks getting in the way.
- Talking through self-doubt in a specific area, like launching a new offer or raising prices.
- Helping someone tweak their website, and getting them clear on where they were overthinking/ what really matters
- Going back and forth on a sales page and offering and tweaking it throughout the day until it was all ready to go.
- Giving feedback on an opt-in freebie, and coming up with ideas to get more people to download it.
- Getting clear on messaging and who they want to work with
I can also help with:
- Helping you come up with content ideas
- Helping you figure out who you want to work with
- Doing some big picture thinking on the direction of your business
- Getting you some momentum on a new project, like a product, service or podcast
- Digging into mindset stuff around visibility and showing up
- Helping you to figure out how to do business more like “you”
- Ideas for generating extra revenue in your business
- Taking a look at your social media strategy and where it can be improved
- Bouncing ideas off each other to nail down your product idea
Note: My speciality is online marketing and I mainly work with service providers, online course creators, podcasters, bloggers etc. But as long as your questions fit into the categories above, we can do some good work together!
Want to ask something else before you book? Just send me a message using the chat box at the bottom right corner of this page and I’ll get back to you asap.
Since my business has had a major shift recently, there were lots of things I could have discussed with Ruth. I narrowed it down to asking about what to charge for a new service I offer, as well as how to offer to that new service (in person, as a downloadable etc.)
After our day together, I am determined to price things in a way that feel good for me. I will double the price of a service I offer and work harder to ask for testimonials from clients. We discussed the challenge of being selfish, because we need to earn decent money, and also accessible to the kind of women I would like to support. I know that starting anything I do should start with the questions: how does it make me feel? Can I stand by it? Do I feel discomfort, and if so, why?
Ruth gets straight to the root of any perceived problems, and has a skill of turning the issue into an exciting challenge. She starts from the best of places: what feels right for you, and how it will fit into your lifestyle. We can be so consumed by serving others in our work that we forget to take a step back and ask the fundamental questions. Knowing that Ruth works quickly also meant that we covered a huge amount during our coaching day.
