In May I ran the latest round of my programme, the Magic of You. The idea is that you are exactly the right person for your right people, which means that owning who you are as a sensitive business owner is the very best way to magnetise your right people to you (& scale your business with grace and ease). Let me share with you a few magical business owners who took the course and are doing just that!
How Do You Tune Into Your Unique Magic?
Obviously, this is a topic I go into (in detail) in my Magic of You course. But for now, let me share a key exercise that I had all my participants do, called the “True 20”: write out a list of 20 reasons why your right people would choose you specifically. This is not about being “the best”. It’s about your personality, your lived experience, who you are, what you’ve been through, your unique outlook and philosophy of what you do. It’s ok if it feels hard (or easy!) This is a huge part of the work to really magnetising your right people to you (and I had all of the following 4 Magic of You participants complete this before they sent me the text you’ll read below).

My Unique Magic: I tap on my knowledge & experience in Matrescence, Mindfulness & Attachment Theory to help mothers ditch the guilt, define their version of mothering and parent from the heart. My superpower is in my ability to tune in to their feelings and hold space for them to process and discover what they would like to explore or try. I am a mother to two boys and I’ve been through the challenges of wanting to “do it all”, be a good mother and managing the never ending list of things to do.

(2) Carola Moon – “believe in my clients and their dreams so strongly until their self-belief catches up”
My Unique Magic: My magic is to believe in my clients and their dreams so strongly until their self-belief catches up, and before any wonky thinking (“I can’t do it”, “I’m not good enough” etc.) can derail them. I discovered life coaching 14 years ago and I was hooked: I had found ‘my thing’! Yet, I spent years since offering photography services because I didn’t believe in myself enough and told myself that it would be easier to sell photography. Now back firmly in the coach seat, owning my own power, I help my clients to develop their sense of self-worth and to process any unhelpful thoughts, however ‘real’ they appear.

I know how it feels to feel like a square peg in a round hole, and how scary that can feel. But I also know the joy of rejecting tradition and what other people view as “normal” in order to pursue joy and happiness. I’m always striving to do better and to learn new things, and have a huge creative streak and a big imagination.
