You’ve probably heard of webinars – informational trainings given for free as a means to sell a product or service.

My free masterclasses could also be called (non-icky!) webinars. The key to the way I teach in them is that they are valuable even if people don’t buy.

AND I also have a clear process to make sure that (a) the training is actionable and not overwhelming and (b) people clearly know how they can buy if they want to get more.

I use free masterclasses and challenges interchangeably to help me launch and have been doing so for many years.

I have courses on both, because I have used both since 2018. If you already have a free masterclass in mind, or want to upgrade the way you run them, start with masterclasses.

If you’re not sure and are considering both, here is my recommendation over which to pick:

• Masterclasses require less energy but can still very effectively sell your offers and grow your audience. They’re easier to run more often.
• Challenges create an incredible connection with the people taking part, so I try to run them 1-2x per year. However, they require more time and energy.

The course is about running free masterclasses (otherwise known as webinars – but these are not icky, value-less pitch-fests -they’re about selling with soul!)

You can use the content for paid masterclasses – I am also about to experiment with a paid masterclass myself – and a lot of the lessons like planning and promoting will still be relevant, but there’s some stuff we don’t cover (like pricing etc).

Yes! Masterclasses work really well without social media and I don’t usually have any kind of Facebook group for mine. I simply promote them (in the ways I share in the course) & engage live in the chat.

Running a free masterclass is easiest when you decide ahead of time what you’re doing. And the course will make this easy-peasy! Especially with the new AI assistant that guides you through everything!

In my experience, the energy that goes into a free masterclass is so much less than running an extended free challenge (which I also do & teach in my Grow With Challenges course) & it’s a very impactful, relatively quick way to grow your audience & create a buzz around what you do.
