Every month inside the Soulful Sales Society membership, we run a themed Get It Done Week. A focused challenge designed to help heart-led business owners actually implement the strategies that grow their email list and bring in sales with less effort. This month was all about growing and selling with collaborations.
That covers a lot of ground: bundles, summits, freebie swaps, podcast guesting, joint workshops. The catch? Most people focus on the growing part and forget about the selling part entirely.
That’s where it gets stuck for so many heart-led business owners. You pour energy into a bundle or a summit, you get a nice bump of new subscribers, and then… nothing. Months later, your list is bigger but nobody is buying. The work has happened, the leads have come in, and the path that turns those leads into sales just isn’t there.
Collaborations are one of the most powerful ways to grow your audience when you don’t want to be on social media constantly. But they only really pay off when the freebie connects to what you actually sell, when the welcome sequence does the nurturing for you, and when there’s an order bump or tripwire quietly making sales in the background. That’s what we worked on this month.
What Changes When Your Collabs Are Designed To Sell
Here’s the bit a lot of people skip. A thousand new subscribers from a bundle is only the start. The real win is one right-fit subscriber who finds your work, gets a result from your freebie, and chooses to work with you further.
I’ve been part of bundles where I got over a thousand leads and made a handful of sales from the order bump. I’ve also been part of smaller summits where I got fewer subscribers but ended up with paying clients I’m still working with today. Audience size matters less than whether the path was set up to lead somewhere.
That’s what this month’s challenge was really about. Applying to collabs and getting visible is part of it. The bigger piece is building the quiet infrastructure underneath. So that when the next opportunity comes up, your freebie connects to your offer, your tags are in place, your welcome sequence does the selling for you, and you’re not starting from scratch every single time.
The members who worked through this week have left themselves something they can use again and again. That’s the real value.
Here’s what my members did this week:
- Pitched or applied to at least one aligned bundle, summit, or podcast opportunity
- Set up the backend tags, automations, and filters so new collab leads get tagged, separated from existing subscribers, and routed to a proper welcome sequence
- Created a ready-to-go collab freebie or bundle product with a tripwire attached, so new leads can convert into immediate sales
- Built a collab-ready plan with their bio, headshot, blurb, offer ideas, and tripwire details all in one place, so they can say yes fast when the right opportunity comes up
- Wrote their full process down step-by-step so future collabs can be a copy-paste job
To celebrate my members taking action, I’m sharing some of their offers with you below. Go check them out, they’re all great!
