Why I created the intentional blog planner

I’ve been creating content online since 2008. I went from completing everything last minute (and staying up way too late) to planning months in advance and managing a team of writers to create content for website owners around the world.

It’s taken me a while, but I’ve finally got a reliable content planning system that means I’m pretty much never struggling for ideas at the last minute.

Planning in this way means that I can be more strategic with the way I publish my content, tying everything together (like specific blog content with promos I’m running), and never running out of ideas. In short, it gives me the potential to achieve more with my business.

And planning isn’t just good for business, it’s good for me. Doing everything last minute is stressful, and now I’ve created space for when life just happens. It means I’m covered if I want to travel last minute, and it meant I was able to take around 4 months off for maternity leave.

Believe me when I say that I am a “last minute” kind of person. If you’d have told me a few years ago that I’d be so organised, I’d never have believed you. If I can do it, so can you!

I’ll be completely honest with you, it does take some time and effort to get ahead of yourself at first. But once you do, your business will run so much more smoothly.
